Event Information
Celebrate the weekend of our church anniversary with fun, fellowship, and fitness! St John Baptist Church invites you to participate in our inaugural 5K Run, Walk, and Roll on Saturday, March 8th, starting at 8:00 AM.
This event is open to all ages and abilities—whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or using a wheelchair or other mobility device, we encourage you to join us! The race will take place right here at St John Baptist Church, 9055 Tamar Drive, Columbia, MD 21045, starting and finishing in our church parking lot.
We’re also excited to have DJ DeeLeww bringing the energy with music to keep you moving and motivated! With experience at Sony, iHeartRadio, and the WNBA, she knows how to set the perfect vibe for an unforgettable event.
All proceeds from the 5K Run, Walk, and Roll will directly support our Youth Ministry, providing essential resources and opportunities for our young people. Come out, get active, and celebrate our church anniversary with your SJBC family!

- The race will begin and end in our church parking lot and take participants through a scenic, well-marked course through the rolling hills and mild terrain of Columbia, making the walk or run enjoyable
