As a Jr. Camp Counselor, you will help make Summer STEM Camp a safe, fun, and exciting place for kids. You’ll work alongside Lead Counselors to support activities, lead small groups, and build positive relationships with campers. Your role is to bring energy, be a good role model, and help create an amazing experience where every camper feels encouraged to learn and grow. This is a great opportunity to build leadership skills, gain real work experience, and have fun while making a difference.

Support the Lead Counselors in delivering camp activities with enthusiasm, creativity, and focus.

Build positive relationships with campers; be a safe, supportive, and encouraging presence.

Collaborate with camp staff, follow schedules, and relay camper needs appropriately.

Help set up and break down activities, manage supplies, monitor transitions, and maintain a safe, organized environment.

Promote kindness, teamwork, curiosity, respect, and safety at all times.

Must be at least 13 years old by June 1, 2025.

Must be available for at least 5 of the 7 weeks of camp.

Must attend mandatory pre-camp training sessions in June (dates to be announced).
